The National Winter Sports Center in Harrachov opened in 2024. It is the main training area for winter sports in the Czech Republic. A national representation of classical skiing athletes is being prepared here, which includes cross-country skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined. The National Sports Center for Winter Sports was established in Harrachov because the necessary infrastructure is located there - hills, cross-country tracks. Entry to the running areas of NSC Harrachov is free and unrestricted for the public. This only happens when sports events are held, when the area is rented by sports clubs. The Harrachov NSC operates year-round. The summer operation focuses mainly on cycling and summer training of winter disciplines. The Czech mountain bike Championship takes place here every year.

The members of the Harrachov National Sports Center are the town of Harrachov, the Skiers' Association of the Czech Republic and other minority companies providing bridge maintenance. There are a total of seven national sports centers in the Czech Republic. The main ones are the National Sports Center for Summer Sports in Nymburk and the National Sports Center for Winter Sports in Harrachov. Others are separate campuses, which include, for example, the swimming pool in Prague's Podolí.
